OUR HISTORY
Massage Review Publications now provides
massage therapy students and practitioners
with a one-stop source for examination study
guides, massage therapy DVDs and videos,
continuing education home study courses, and
books, articles, flashcards and charts on
therapeutic massage and bodywork.
For over fourteen years, massage therapy
students have relied upon Michelle Phillips’
two volume set of study guides, “Questions
and Answers” and “More Questions and
Answers” as a resource for review in
preparing to take both the National
Certification Examination promulgated by the
NCBTMB and state licensing and registration
examinations. In the Spring of 2008,
Michelle took the new MBLEx, the exam
administered by the Federation of Massage
Therapy Boards ( FSMTB). Her conclusion was
that the two volume Q&A set would prepare
students for this exam as well. Many
colleges and massage therapy schools now
incorporate the study guides in their
curriculum. The set of two books has proven
to be the most useful and comprehensive
study guide available to examination
candidates across the country.
In 1998, the company began to offer selected
massage therapy videos in addition to the
set of study guides. The initial video
offering of 10 VHS tapes has now grown to
include over 250 DVDs covering a wide range
of massage therapy topics, and new DVDs are
being reviewed and added to the collection
on a regular basis.
In the summer of 2000, we became the
exclusive publisher and distributor of all
videos, books, articles and continuing
education courses offered by the Day-Break
Geriatric Massage Institute. In the spring
of 2002, we began publishing and
distributing Derek Brigham’s newly revised
book, “The Eastern Bodyworker’s Study Guide”
which directly complements the study guides
by Michelle Phillips.
As 2003 began, Chinese and Spanish versions
of the 2 volume set of study guides by
Michelle Phillips were made available for
the first time, as well as newly developed
interactive testing software on CD-ROM
utilizing 1200 questions and answers from
the 2 volume set of study guides. The
software was upgraded in 2007 to accommodate
the new Microsoft Vista operating system and
is available on our new version 9.1 CD-ROM.
In 2004, we added over 30 home study
continuing education courses from 15
different NCBTMB approved providers, and in
the Spring of 2005, we added an audio 3-CD
version of the 2 volume set of study guides
utilizing 1000 questions and answers from
the 2 volume set of study guides.

remained committed to providing outstanding
products and superior service to its

information is kept private. We do not sell,
distribute, or make available any of your

our company. In the future we do hope to
send information about new products to you

SHIPPING
We typically ship within the U.S. by United
States Postal Service 2-3 day Priority Mail.
All shipments are shipped with Delivery
Confirmation and all orders over $75.00 are
automatically insured through a third party
insurance carrier provided by Endicia, our
shipping software company. Delivery
Confirmation is a service of the post office
which allows us to track your shipment at
the point in time when the package is
delivered, or delivery is attempted. Please

our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for
more information about Priority Mail and
Delivery Confirmation.
International orders are also shipped via
the United States Postal Service. At this
time, all online international orders are
being shipped via Priority International
mail whenever possible. Priority
International mail ships to most, but not
all countries. If you have any questions, or

OUR CATALOG
If you would like to have a printed copy of
our catalog, click on “Catalog”. You will be
provided the option of requesting a print
catalog, and/or downloading our most recent
catalog. The catalog is in PDF format and
uses the Adobe Acrobat Reader software to
download and print. This software is free
and can be easily obtained at the time you
are preparing to download the catalog.
WHOLESALE ORDERS
We are able to provide all but one series of
our study guides, including the new CD-ROM
and Audio CDs and 15 of our DVDs at
wholesale for educational institutions,
spas, bookstores, and other resellers. (The
Trail Guide Series is not available at
wholesale from our company.) Select

program. A number of forms, including our
